March 21, 2013 – The Georgia Department of Education is accepting proposals for workshops, seminars and roundtables for the National Dropout Prevention Conference to be held Nov. 3-6 in Atlanta.
The Conference is inviting innovative, skilled presenters who have excellent ideas, proven programs, and research to share in the areas of
- school climate
- data assessment
- curriculum and instruction
- college and career pathways
- leadership, policy, and governance
- student support services and interventions
- student, family, and community engagement
For detailed descriptions of each of these strands, visit dropoutprevention.org. Proposals for sessions are due May 5, and chosen presenters will be notified May 15.
